Innovation at Wasoria

Research laboratories support Wasoria in its innovations.

At Wasoria, innovation is thought collectively. Our teams collaborate closely with several research laboratories and academia to design, test and refine the technologies that will revolutionize tomorrow's industry.

Our partner laboratories

Wasoria and CIAD

The CIAD laboratory (Connaissance et Intelligence Artificielle Distribuées) is a research unit of UTBM and the University of Burgundy, expert in hybrid (neurosymbolic), distributed and explainable artificial intelligence.

As part of an intelligent sorting center project, CIAD implements a digital twin based on an approach combining formal knowledge (ontologies) and machine learning (neural networks), for both symbolic and connectionist reasoning.

This partnership illustrates Wasoria's commitment to leveraging fundamental research to develop reliable and explainable industrial solutions.

Wasoria and ImVIA

The ImViA Laboratory (Imagerie et Vision Artificielle) is a research unit that brings together the computer vision activities of the University of Burgundy. It has around fifty teacher-researchers organized into two teams in Dijon and Le Creusot working on various topics: vision system design, real-time image analysis, medical diagnosis assistance, AI for signal and image analysis, multi-modal and unconventional imaging systems, appearance modeling, perception for/by robotics, robotic control.

The laboratory has a long history, since the 1980s, of collaborations with industry in the field of artificial vision, with diverse but also very specific applications in dimensional control, appearance inspection, 3D reconstruction of specific industrial objects: transparent (glass), moving (tubes in motion), reflective (cosmetic packaging), molten (metal welding) or very hot (foundry parts) for example.

CIFRE Thesis

In collaboration with IMVIA, WASORIA affirms its commitment to advancing research through a thesis led by Walid Brahim. This work aims to integrate innovations validated by the scientific community at the heart of WASORIA solutions.

Hub&Go

Hub&Go Technopôle Sud-Bourgogne is a space for openness and exchange, where innovation, training and entrepreneurship meet.

The presence of WASORIA and IMVIA in these premises offers lasting roots and a fertile ground for stimulating the local economic fabric.

A partnership beneficial for students

Thanks to its relationships with IMVIA, the University of Burgundy and Polytech Le Creusot, WASORIA hosts several interns and work-study students, directly within partner schools and Hub&Go.

An exceptional opportunity, at the heart of a rich collaboration, with students from all backgrounds.
